DAY 01 :

Arrival Chennai (Madras) :

Upon arrival at international airport, tour representative will meet to you inside the arrival hall, would be greeting you and assisting with hotel check-in. A brief up on your tour plan would be provided. Chennai is popularly regarded as the "Gateway to the South India". Morning free for get relax. Afternoon commence full day local sightseeing. Visit Kapaleeshwara Temple, Triplicne-Sri Parthasarathy Temple, St. Thomas Cathedral, Fort, Museum. Rest of the time free for individual activities. Overnight a t hotel.

DAY 02 :

Chennai (Madras) - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

(120 Km) :

Breakfast at hotel, later proceed to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram was the historical capital of the Pallavas. Kanchipuram is also know centre of finest silk sarees made in the country. On arrival some of the most famous temples as Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple, Ekambareshwara Tempe, Kailasanatha Temple, Vaigundha Perumal Temple. After having delicious South India Food proceed to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check in hotel or Resort.

DAY 03 :

Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to half day sightseeing of Mahabalipuram, the guide from will give you a deep knowledge about this city. Mahabalipuram is a sleepy coastal town. This tiny sea side village set in a boulder strewn landscape is a site of many ancient sculptural marvels. It was the port city of the Pallavas who had mastered the art of construction without suing bricks or mortar. The best example of their art here are the five monolith chariots, the price of Mahabalipuram. The various panels on the walls depict scenes from Hindu mythology and fables from the Panchtantra. Visit the Cave Temple, Shore Temples, monolithic rathas and bas-feliefs. Later proceed to Pondicherry, On arrival check in hotel rest of the time visit the sea side, Arvindo Ashram and local market.

DAY 04 :

Pondicherry - Thanjavur (Tanjore)

After breakfast visit Pondicherry – Pondicherry a former French colony settled int eh 18th century is now a Union territory and a beautiful seaside town with traces of French culture still intact. Apart from the charming atmosphere, excellent restaurants, and cheap beer bar. Visit at Pondicherry The Aurobindo Ashram- founded in 1926 the Sri Aurobindo Ashram has grown, grown under the Mothe's guidance, from a small group of two dozen disciples into a large diversified Community. Later proceed to Thajavur, en route visit Chidambaram- famous Shiva Temple and continue drive to Gangaikonda Cholapuram, Dharasuram and after exploring continue drive to Thanjavur (Tanjore). On arrival check in hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 05 :

Thanjavur (Tanjore) - Trichi

(54 Km) :

After breakfast at hotel commence sightseeing of Thanjavur (Tanjore) - famous as a "Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu" Thanjavur (Tajore) was the royal city of the Chola Empire which ruled from 850 to 1270. It is the home of Carnatic music, musical instruments, dance and traditional handicraft. It is famous for Brahadeeshwara Temple, built by the greatest of the Chola emperors. It is also regarded as the Chola dynasty's finest contribution to the Dravidian Temple architecture. Later proceed to Trichi- is a fine blend of tradition and modernity built around the Rock Fort. It was one of the main centers around wiich the wars of Carnatic were fought in the 18th century during the British-French struggle for supremacy in India. On arrival at Trichi, visit The Rock Fort Temple-which stands on 84 M high rock in the centre of the town, in the 18th century, the British fought and defeated the French at Trichy for possession of the fort. Thousands Pillars and the shrine of Shiva. The Cave Shrines and temple are built on the rock, at the top we can relax and enjoy the panoramic views of Trichy. Later visit Ranganathaswamy Temple, dedicated to the Lord Vishanu, the temple was know as a theological seat of learning as far back as the 11th century and as a sacred site it dates back two thousand years. Drive back to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 06 :

Trichi - Madurai

(130 Km) :

Breakfast at hotel, proceed to Madurai, en route visit local village and small market. On arrival check in hotel, Rest of the time visit Madurai. Madurai is nestled town and religious capital of Tamailnadu. This is 2500 years old city is famous for its Hindu and Tamil cultural attractions. The ancient Kingdom of Maurya on the banks of the Vaigai River is one of India's most sacred pilgrimage centres. Originally designed in the shape of a lotus motiv, the city has since spread into a colourful patchwork of temple Bazaar and narrow roads packed with shops stalls.

DAY 07 :

Madurai - Thekkady

(135 Km) :

After breakfast drive to Periyar, en route visit the grapes garden, On arrival at Thekkady (Periyar) check in hotel rest of the time visit spice garden and local market. The world Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice-scented plantations. In the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one the finest wildlife reserves in India and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walk.

DAY 08 :

Thekkady - House Boat

Early in the morning proceed to Periyar Lake, to viewing the wildlife as Elephant, Bison, Deer and Boar etc. Lying close to the plantations, in the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves – the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread across 777 sq. km. of which 360 sq. km. is thick evergreen forest, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978, Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wilflide and scenic beauty, the Reserve in attracts visitors from all over the world. Later drive back to hotel, after breakfast drive to Kumarakom (Alleppey). On arrival embark in the house boat, and start your thrilling experience through the backwater beauty of Kerala, while on your journey you can view lush green paddy fields, coconut farms, small churches and you can observe that life orientation of villagers in the backwaters. On board your crew will serve you delicious food, prepared from the fresh vegitables purchased from the floating market. Later in the evening the houseboat will anchor on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight in you air conditioned house boat.

DAY 09 :

House Boat - Kovalam :

Breakfast at house boat, later disembark from the house boat, at Kumarakom finishing points boat jetty, from there you car will pick you and drop you at your hotel or resort. Rest of the time free for get relax. Or the day for Ayurvidec Massage. Overnight at Kokaraom.

DAY 10 :

Kumarakom - Kovalam :

After breakfast drive to Kovalam-one of the Indi's internationally renowned beaches, in God's own country, Kerala, with its sheltered natural bay, azure blue water and sumptuous spread of green palm groves, it is a tropical paradise. Sun bathing, swimming ayurvedic rejuvenation, yoga and meditation, herbal body massages, special cultural program, catamaran cruising, the possibilities are many and you could be as lazy or as active as you chose to be. No activities scheduled today, sine it is your own time for relax and explore the beach.

DAY 11 :

Kovalam :

DAY 12 :

Kovalam - Cochin

(145 Km) :

Early in the morning drive to Cochin, On arrival check in hotel rest of the time visit Cochin, tour includes Fort Cochin – a home to a unique community of Eurasians commonly know as "Angol-Indian" . The architecture of the quiet streets in this enclave is very definitely, European with fine houses built by wealthy British traders, and Dutch cottages with split farmhouses doors. Mattancherry Palace-locally know as the Dutch Palace, the two storey building was actually erected by the Portuguese, as a gift ot the Cochin Raja. St. Francis Church- this protestant church was originally built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD. It is considered to be India's oldest European church. Jewish synagogue- dates from 1568 and is adorned with fine glass lamps and floor tiles. Rest of the time free nearby the Fort Kochi. Late evening farewell dinner than transfer to airport, take the flight, back to home.
